bridal shower custom wishing well

We created this special lobster trap "wishing well" for my sister's bridal shower. The theme was built around lobsters, in reference to an episode of "Friends" in which Phoebe declares to Ross that Rachel is his "lobster" - because "lobsters mate for life". We also created miniature traps that held little red lobster candies and served as centerpieces, along with lobster-shaped cookie cutters with attached "recipes for a happy marriage" as favors. Then, after the shower, the happy couple was able to use this lobster trap at their reception as a "mailbox" for cards and gifts!

All of the guests LOVED the unique theme and are still talking about the "lobsters" many years later!
